Overview

About Voice Changer Pro

Voice Changer Pro captures your microphone, transforms your voice in real time and sends the result to a virtual microphone that every app can use: games, Discord, Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, softphones, browsers and OBS. There is nothing to configure in the other apps, and a master switch takes you back to your real voice without interrupting the call.

The engine shifts pitch without the chipmunk or robot effect, so voices keep a natural character. Choose from 78 built-in presets, including 20 female and 20 male voices plus age, professional and character voices, or build your own with formant, breath, tremor, rasp, EQ, de-esser, compressor and effects, and share them as JSON files.

Noise removal and voice isolation sit outside the presets, so you can switch voices freely while fans, hum, keyboard clatter and room chatter stay suppressed. A background audio bed plays music or ambience under your voice, and on Windows each microphone can run its own preset.

Voice Changer Pro is free, and its full C# source is on GitHub. Windows 10 and 11 get system-wide routing through the VB-CABLE virtual microphone, Macs with Apple chips use BlackHole, and the Android app gives you live voice change in your headphones plus record, change and share for clips.

Features

What it does

Change your voice live in Discord, Zoom, Teams, games and softphones with 78 natural-sounding presets. Free for Windows, Mac and Android.
  • 78 realistic presets

20 female and 20 male voices plus age, professional, accent-flavor and utility presets, with favorites and search.

  • Natural pitch and formant control

Pitch-synchronous shifting keeps the voice natural, while formant, breath, tremor, rasp and nasality shape age and character.

  • Works in every app

A virtual microphone becomes the system default, so Discord, Zoom, Teams, games, OBS and softphones hear the changed voice with no setup.

  • Noise removal and voice isolation

Adaptive suppression removes up to 30 dB of fan, hum and keyboard noise, and isolation pushes other voices down by up to 40 dB.

  • Background audio bed

Play MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC and other audio files under your voice, with separate file and voice volume sliders.

  • Broadcast processing chain

7-band EQ, de-esser, compressor, noise gate and limiter on every microphone, plus chorus, echo, reverb and radio effects.

  • Shareable custom presets

Create unlimited presets of your own, then import and export them as JSON.

  • Several microphones at once

On Windows each microphone gets its own engine and preset, and new headsets start automatically when you plug them in.

  • Live monitoring

Hear yourself on headphones, loop a 5-second test clip and watch input, output, gate and pitch meters while you tune.

FAQ

Questions and answers

Is it really free?
Yes. Voice Changer Pro is free to download and use, and the complete C# source is available on GitHub. The download button takes you to the latest release.
Which devices does it run on?
Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit), Macs with Apple chips on macOS 12 or later, and Android 8 or later. On Android the changed voice plays in your headphones and in clips you record and share; Android does not let one app replace another app's microphone.
How do other apps hear my changed voice?
On Windows the installer offers to set up VB-CABLE, a virtual audio cable from VB-Audio, and makes it your default microphone. On a Mac you use BlackHole. If an app does not pick it up automatically, choose the virtual microphone in that app's audio settings.
How much delay does it add?
About 80 ms of processing at 48 kHz. With the default buffers the end-to-end delay is roughly 150 ms, and smaller buffers bring it to about 110 ms on a fast machine.
Does my voice leave my computer?
No. All processing happens on your computer or phone. The only network step is the optional VB-CABLE download during installation on Windows.
Where do I get help and updates?
New versions are published on the releases page, and the install guides cover setup and troubleshooting. If you get stuck, write to humans@thinktools.dev.
